BYU volleyball: TCU upsets No. 21 Cougars with sweep
"TCU is a good team," said BYU head coach Shay Goulding. "They played well, and we didn't. We just have to find a way to fight back and take care of some things this week in practice."
Senior Rachel Dyer and junior Kayla Walker led the way for BYU with seven kills each while sophomore libero Melissa Lake tallied a match- high 15 digs. Four Horned Frogs posted seven kills to pace TCU.
UTAH 3, NEW MEXICO 1: At Albuquerque, senior outside hitter Lori Baird slammed down a career-high 21 kills to lead the Utes at New Mexico (25-21, 28-26, 13-25, 25-21).
UVU 3, CS BAKERSFIELD 2: At Orem, victory came back to Utah Valley University (4-8) as it beat Cal State Bakersfield (10-9) in five sets (25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 23-25, 15-9).
NEW MEXICO STATE 3, UTAH STATE 0: At Logan, Lindsey Yon recorded 20 kills to lead NMSU (25-19, 25-21, 25-22) over USU.
