Elder Maxwell grateful for a 'delay en route'
No public announcement was made when Elder Neal A. Maxwell of the Quorum of the Twelve underwent therapy for leukemia. Yet the circumstance became apparent when he took the pulpit absent his salt-and-pepper hair during the church's general conference in April. He quipped about his exposed scalp bringing "some different illumination to the pulpit."
