I thought this movie was great! I wish I could have looked at the main charicter's eyes longer. They are soooo cool! the movie was not really fit to it's title though. if it was supposed to be pitch black why can you see the charicters faces?I guess there wouldn't be a movie if it was really pitch black. Maybe it should have been called ALOMST pitch black.

I really liked the movie. It's one of the best sci-fi movies I've seen. The production of the whole movie, I thought, was fantastic. It had more of an origional plot than most of the "alien" movies out there today. I would highly recommend this movie.

Pitch Black is a highly enjoyable sci-fi thriller. It is a heck of a lot more enjoyable than recent sci-fi efforts such as Supernova. It's not the greatest flick in the world, but well worth the six bucks.

I would have enjoyed the movie more had it all been filmed in a pitch black studio.

What a total piece of MONKEY CRAP this movie was!!!! I am a huge sci-fi fan and was one of the foolish people who rushed out to see it before they had a chance to read the review from Jeff Vice. The dialouge between the characters was so inane I started to wonder if the director was serious or if was he trying to make a comedy. In either event, this movie set the sci-fi genre back about 10 years. One other thing that I forgot to mention was to vot for JEFF VICE in the upcoming presidential elections. He is the only candidate out there who has integrity and will be tough on crime!!

Hats off to the creators of Pitch Black. Actually, hats off to anybody who can do good sci-fi. :)

Pitch black is a movie that could have been a whole lot better if it weren't for it's chesey diolog and bad acting. There were some very funny parts, and the grafics were extremly exceptional. I give it a two for effort, because the concept and plot were very cool.

Wrong, dead wrong! That's what Jeff Vice's review of Pitch Black was. My family and I saw it, and we were glued to our seats from the hair-raising opening scene to the final moment of horror and special effects. Going so far as to say the movie is "dopey, poorly paced and surprisingly derivative work...an extreme disappointment" totally misses the mark! In truth, the movie wasn't the best of the best, but it certainly was enjoyable, original enough, and I'd see it again. Will I buy the DVD? You bet! Jeff gets the 1.5 stars for the review on this one, while the movie deserves much more.
