Silly Fox. Here was a chance for David to do something great which would reflect well on them, too. Alas.

Gotta read that fine print in those contracts. I think the AI producers are being very selfish for not allowing a charitable act to move forawrd. Alot of greedy people in this world.

This is exactly why I was glad that David A. didn't win A.I. Idol would have him so tightly in their fist he would be unable to do what he wants to do. Fortuntately at the end of the summer his contractual obligations to them will be over and he will be able to move forward with his career, free from the iron first that is called American Idol. He's going to have a great career without them.

I am so dissapointed the concert got cancelled, I still have my tickets for the American Idol Tour Concert in July. Too bad for the charities he wanted to donate to. David is such a great kid. We need more like Him! What a great heart!

I'm not a fan of AI, but I had plans to take my wife to this concert since the E-Center was sold out. Guess we'll just have to go see WWE wrestling instead. I'll take bodyslams and chairshots over AI anyday!

Sorry to hear American Idol pulled the plug on the concert. Not to worry, when David Archuleta's first C.D. hits the stores this great, grandma will be sure to buy as many as I can! We think you're great David. Proud to have you somewhere in our tree.

Hey "Grandma" MJ!
Save some of those CDs for David's many, many fans across the world! (We love him almost as much as his family does, I think.)

I couldn't have attended the Utah concert anyway, but I think it's too bad he couldn't thank his hometown fans. I'll be at the tour stop in Kansas City MO (with my Angel white tee on, LOL) -- and if at all possible I'll be at Archie's next concert, where he'll sing more than four songs! And, man, I can't wait for the CD!

So everyone was glad he took 2nd so he wouldn't be controled by AI. Well guess what? He just signed with19 Entertainment and now he is owned by the very people everyone thought he was away from. I know something about bands and people signing with record labels and the label pretty much owns you. I lived with people that got signed and they can't do any shows that are not approved by the label(even a small acoutic show in your house). It is pretty ugly what is in the fine print so this being canceled doesn't suprise me one bit. What does AI get from this concert? Nothing at all so they stopped it. I kinda thought it was a joke to begin with since after paying all the fees for the building and workers you would have almost nothing to give to the charity. If you are going to do somehting then do it right and this was not right.
