I interviewed Craig for that story and felt immediately this was a special young man. He was not uncomfortable to be around - he put me at ease with his no nonsense attitude. He wanted no pity, only to get on with his life. His outlook truly was to make lemonade out of lemons. I'm so sorry for his family - they have lost a gem of a son and the rest of the world has lost an inspiring example. I'm glad I had the chance to meet and know Craig Decker.

To this wonderful family who has given so much to our community, I send my prayers and thoughts.

What kind of legal, Utah firework is powerful enough to take a person's hand off? I guess those laws exist for a reason.

I also know Craig. Craig is a great young man. I found him enjoyable to be around. He always kept a great sense of humor but had a vision of what was really important in life. Things happen for a reason. Craig blessed the lives of all those that he came into contact.
I pray for the comfort of his family at this time of great tragedy.

No, Craig was in the Provo area when the Roman Candle exploded in his hand - the Roman Candle and other fireworks were obtained in Mexico.

It would be nice to have an update on this story. It looked to me like the search had resumed today.
