Reader comments: Salt Lake City Library director hopes to focus on building for future

I've just moved to SLC, and the good reputation of the SLC library was a big draw to me. Ms. Elder sounds like my kind of librarian, and the SLC library facility and collection is stellar.

I would like to say however that Deseret News should not lead stories with how tall or short a person is. That is just plain rude. Ms. Elder is just an average sized lady by today's standards; even if she wasn't average sized, why would that be worthy of comment since she is so very interesting in many other way.
It's not like she had to work hard just to grow you know!

I'm looking at which paper I want to read; if this is any indication of what DN thinks is lead paragraph worthy...then I'll pay to get my news else where.
