I really don't care too much that Mathis is back on the team, just as long as he doesn't start any match. If he can be used as a good sub, then why not.

I wondered if he would come back.
Now any news about Will Johnson, apperantly RSL just aquired him.

Get him fit.... | 9:41 a.m. Aug. 22, 2008
...and then put him on the pitch. Maybe he'll see 15 minutes or so against Columbus, but I don't think he is ready for more than that.

No one coming off the bench have really made that much of an impact this year. Why not try Clint he could get a card or two but if he scores two goals by the end of the year I would call it a success.
Bad Move | 10:40 a.m. Aug. 22, 2008
It didn't take long for Mathis to get into the last game, and it took even less time to make terrible passes. Once upon a time this guy was talented, but the fairy tale ended years ago. I will be worried anytime this guy is in the game. He creates too many turnovers.

...whoever that is.
Maybe a reserve player?

Young man who played in MLS and then left briefly for Heerenveen in Holland. That league makes its reputation mostly on developing young players, so if they saw something in him, he might be worth a shot. He did score 3 goals in 3 games for Canada in Olympic qualifying.

is some canadian "prodagy (sp?)" striker.
Sweet.... | 11:43 a.m. Aug. 22, 2008
...I wonder if he is tall, or fast.
Did we trade anyone to get him?
Is he here to develope? Or just push the current front line.
Interesting.

A half canadian half american (dual citizenship) striker who has pace, is 5'10", can play the wing, and scored against mexico for canada (that alone makes him good in many books).
Should be interesting to see where he fits in.
He will NOT be available for the game tomorrow. he is expected to arrive in Salt Lake on Sunday and start training Monday.
