Well they might as well cherish the moment because they won't ever be wearing a ring for the Jazz. I would hope this would be a wake-up call for the NBA to change their style of play to TEAM BASKETBALL in the future. With all their stars, the Americans could barely beat a horrible talented team from Spain. Shows you how bad the Americans are when it comes to playing a pure style of ball. David Stern WAKE UP NOW!!
It's not the style of play... | 1:02 p.m. Aug. 24, 2008
it's the style of officiating that the NBA needs to adopt. Let the frickin teams play! Ironic that I feel this way since it was a non-call that doomed the Jazz to losing in the Finals against Jordan and the Bulls.

Probably not more meaningful for Boozer...he gets the gold, but don't you need to actually play for it to be satisfying?

GO GOLD! | 7:50 a.m. Aug. 25, 2008
Actually, now US is a WORLD champion, what a nice game against Spain, now we know there is a lot of good players that dont play in the NBA and they are good and I think some of them are better.
Please dont say that winning NBA title you are worl champion because is not truth. Is ONLY when you play for a championship agaisnt other countries like the olimpics!!!
US team played good, but just that "good"!!! I wish the final game was Spain and Argentina, they deserve gold better!
So are the Jazz looking for a descent trade...?

It's easier for D-Wade to say than D-Will because D-Wade has a ring.

IF ARGENTINA WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER MATCH UP THEN THEY WOULD HAVE BEATEN TEAM U.S.A. SO OBVIOUSLY THEY DO NOT DESERVE GOLD!!!!
