This school was set up for the sole purpose of creating a super sport school. The name USC and their colors, the same as the college, were the first clue.
We already have enough trouble with legitimate private schools recruiting athletes. I'm glad they're gone.

Just out of curiosity, how about showing a list of the names and to where they are 'transferring'.

"We're going to treat them as if they were a member school to give every break in the world to the families who are caught up in this," said Wilkey. "This isn't their fault."

well, I am glad the district is making it easier for them to get back in, but I completely disagree that it isn't their (parents') fault.

Any parent who got sucked into that mess should take a look at their own priorities and process for evaluating what is best for their child.

I agree with you. There were so many red flags about this school. If it's too good to be true, it usually is! I do put the parent's at fault. And the said part about all of this is the kid's suffer because of "adult" choices.

I had spoken with almost every coach of this school about some business items. This was a mess from the start. Very shady. I am glad to hear it didn't work out.

This Bob Jones guy is a Joke, He couldn't have his way at Cottonwood and Coach there so he started his own thing, I sure Hope Cottonwood would never allow his Kid to play at Cottonwood because of all the bad mouthing he did. He just needs to go away and never show his Fat Face again.

I love it!!! Now c'mon back you arrogant egotistical parents and players. You were so eager to get out of our school now you want back in. Yes can have a place on our team, the far right end of the bench.

I for one am glad for some closure, and am ready for some stability. Woodland Hills seems like the biggest victims here I will miss them. Their dedicated staff was terrific for my son. THANK YOU.

P.S.

When parents buy programs, there are times where there is a short run of success. But what happens when the parent leaves? Does the success sustain itself? Not usually. In this case, a parent attempted to buy a couple of programs before getting in over his head. Not surprisingly, his venture folded. And what was the cost of his ego? To the fan of hs sports, many feel some sort of satisfaction that unethical actions have resulted in failure. But what about the students that were originally enrolled in the school, with no interest in sports? What about the teachers that had been teaching at the school? I feel for them. Yet I do not feel the same for the players and their parents that left their neighborhood school to play powerhouses such as the Sorensen Boys Ranch. The message is simple. Play where you live. And to the parents, who have bought programs along the Wasatch front, I hope that the programs will sustain themselves after you have gone. No parent has ever bought me or my program. No parent ever will.
