The two-year-old's mom is 17? She was pregnant when she was 14....by a 23-year-old man?

Where are the protectors of the underaged "nonwhite" women?

Seventeen years old with three kids! That says a lot!

There are protectors of the "non-white" women, but the crime(s) have to be reported to the proper authorites. Where are her parents or legal guardians? They should have some say in this whole situation. If there are crimes going on in the home then you can bet the authorities will not be called.

What does this have to do with race, a kid is dead -- end of story. As long as you brought race into it, dad is illegal and being held. You bet no family member or friends are going to call no matter what's going on. Who is supposed to protect these, as you put it "underaged non-white women? If family isn't interested in reporting criminal activity, just who is is that is supposed to protect them? Please enlighten us.

Race has nothing to do with it. I know alot of underage females that are pregnant, or already have one or more kids. So please leave race out of it

Yes. It is not about race. It's about ethics, character and morality. And due to the lack of these, a little child died.

After I posted the above, I had the feeling there is a factor in this case that has not come to light. What that might be, I don't know. Time will tell.

Poor, poor babies! Adopt the twins out asap!

They deserve to be raised in a loving home, not to be bounced around foster care until they are older and "unadoptable"!

Permanent sterilization for both the man (before deportation)and woman! End of story!

Be careful when you judge! I know this girl and she is a very, sweet loving mom. I'm sure there was abuse all around here, not just on the child, but on the mom.

Yes, she's young, vulnerable, and probably very scared, so harsh comments are not helpful.

Hang in there, sweetheart!
