So Delta is growing. It's about to become a bigger airline. Swell.

It loses money every year. The whole American airline industry would collapse without tax subsidies - we're all paying, every day, for flights we don't take. And now I'm paying taxes, and Delta is using my money to eliminate competition - how wonderful.

It's time to wipe the slate clean on American transportation and start over. Build a system that pays for itself.

No transportion system pays for itself. All are subsidized in one way or another through taxes, fees, or surcharges. Which is as it should be. Efficient transportation is the catalyst that makes it possible for our overall economy to be profitable.

Two average airlines at best come together to form a giant. Any bets?

10 million pages of documentation? You would have to read 500 pages every day for your entire life to read that.
