I, for one, am VERY HAPPY my great President Bush and his full HONEST and MORE THAN FAIR good (no, the BEST) administration, is considering taking part ownership in a number of U.S. banks, and help restore a relative calm, (over those that THINK Rome was built in a day)with a fast quick fix over night as some believe, over global financial markets, however perhaps it should be the UN doing that, but they are to stupid to figure it out also, that, it even took GOD 6 days to make the heaven's and Earth, and he's the best, than even HE rested on the 7th day. That's the PROBLEM, with this new I, Me and My Generation of today, they are to use to "fast" and no public contact at all, other than cell phones, the internet, emails, and a host of other social ill's, bought with their equity monies, called equity toys, could NOT pay the mortgage, ran up credit card debt's, listened to our majority controlled liberal Congress, and along with them to, crashed the banks and Money Market's, that's WHY we are gonna elect McCain and Sarah in 2008. REAL CHANGE WILL BE COMMING SOON!.

Brother Chuck Schroeder; once your statements would have been followed by: a reference to Provo. Never mind, it's strange what we remember.

So, 37% of Americans lack you in depth insights? It must be those two years when democrats ruled congress a a couple votes out of the last twelve years that was the problem. Your votes can make you anymore personally accountable than Bush.

Who am I to doubt your revelation that contradicts that Obama will carry 332 electoral college votes.

You're right. It's the world that doesn't get it. There are no sharp tools near you? If this gets any worst call the nice doctors. They are there to help you.

Those that laugh first laugh last. It's a true Disney On Ice: Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey, to The White House, when I see Sarah with McCain, they are so honest and clean and truthful President McCain and Sarah Palin make a better TEAM than a Utah "monkey sock" puppet-figure, and Joe Biden still looks like a Klingon, now go figure. Terrorist's support other terrorist's, but NOT ON THE McCain / Palin "TRUE TEAM" 2008!.

In order to fully appreciate and understand the rarity of the 1893-97 New Orleans Morgan Dollars, one must first review the history of this period. The Depression of 1893 was one of the worst in American history, with unemployment exceeding 10%. Part of the reason it was so bad was that this high rate was sustained for 5 or 6 consecutive years, killing any chance of a quick recovery. The National Bureau of Economic Research estimated that the economic contraction began in January 1893 and continued until June 1894. There was a brief reprieve as the economy grew until December 1895, but was then hit by a second recession that lasted until June 1897. The depression had been blamed on, among other things, the deflation dating back to the Civil War, the Gold standard and poor monetary policy. The economy was the subject of great debate in the political arena. While campaigning for President in 1896, William Jennings Bryan made his famous proclamation at the conclusion of his speech saying, you shall not crucify mankind on a cross of gold. Republican William McKinley won the election.

Just like McCain and Sarah WILL DO.

This is so, so sad: grown-ups who can't see the obvious transformation of our economy from a semi-capitalist one to a fascist/socialist one. Our government contemplates ownership of banks, the Fed invests directly in banks and other businesses...what's next?
