I started in 1979 and have been dancing non-stop since. I went kicking and screaming the first time and stayed this long. Seems there must be something wonderful about an activity that has been in my blood for nearly 30 years. Come join us you are all welcome.

I love square dancing, but have any of you tried adult clogging. Clogging for adults is great exercise and may or may not be done with a square of 8. Are there any clubs here in SLC, I know of some in CA, AZ, NV etc. What is happening here?

I danced with the Capital City Squares in Sacramento(the oldest gay square dance club in America still in existance) and had lots of fun. The straight clubs loved to come dance with us too. It was a good experience for all. Perhaps Salt Lake could learn a lesson from that.

I like square dancing because it's fun and MUCH easier to learn than line dancing (if I can do it, anyone can)! It looks complicated, but it really isn't! It's good exercise, keeps your mind active, you met a lot of people, and it's great fun!! I never would have thought it was such a big thing ... people from other states come dance with our clubs here, so again you're meeting people from all over!! Plus, you can dance with their clubs when you go to their states!!
