"We can solve this crisis and we will"
Who is he kidding; he'll be out of office before this global recession starts to turn the corner. Perhaps he would do well to be silent, he has nothing to contribute except further damage to the Republican Party in electoral terms.
Failure to listen, failure to regulate and eyes on belligerence overseas whilst this developed are all real aspects of his contribution to a strong ecenomy inherited when he came to power.
Let history record the huge national debt he leaves financially not to mention the cost of failures to find WMD, Bin laden and the loss of life from his wars.

President Bush is 100% RIGHT | 11:40 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Fear of loss - and, those GIANT TALKING HEADS on the news cause this panic. Here's a good example of that - Gold slipped nearly 2 percent on Friday after earlier touching a 2-1/2 month high as a slide in the global equity markets sparked a broad-based commodities sell-off. Platinum, palladium and silver all tumbled, reflecting losses in crude oil, industrial metals, sugar and grains, as European and U.S. stock markets posted huge losses. Spot gold was quoted at $897.00/901.00 an ounce at 1436 GMT against $911.50 an ounce late in New York on Thursday. Earlier it touched a session low of $887.95 an ounce. Gold has been underpinned in recent weeks by interest in bullion as a haven from risk as markets descended into chaos. But that has not been enough to support it as losses have intensified. The flight to quality into gold and possibly silver is not necessarily a valid approach to the market right now.

Double Duh | 12:17 p.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Bush hasn't done anything else right during the past eight years. Why would anyone think he would get this right either? That's what we get for electing a moron (twice no less).

There are more college educated liberal than college educated conservatives. I aced economics.
This is both funny and scary. We have a Bush supporter handing out free advice on the economy. A can't argue the price this economic consultant is asking. You can only charge what the market will bear.
If your equities plunging in value and you need cash and you have invested in gold, solver or copper. What is one possible solution to increasing your liquidity?
You sell your commodity.
The drop in gold prices is an aggregate drop in the commodity price. You can't assign a causation when there are many causation that that can explain the trend. The drop in value alone can't be logically used to support your contention about the media.

You poor lost sole. don't know if you've noticed, but Barry's crowds are shrinking. When was the last time you saw a video piece, a television report of an Obama crowd? The Greek rally at the convention was the last time. When you see Obama on television now it's just a head shot of him at the podium with the selected white supporters carrying a sign sitting behind him. But they don't show you the whole crowd. Mary Mitchell, a wuss, wimp columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times says that Sarah Palin should be censured. She says that "Sarah Palin should apologize to the Obama campaign and the American people for her role in bringing out the worst in her supporters." This is laughable. It's going to be McCain and Sarah in our White House come 2009, so change your 0-bot thinking cap, stop the bushie bashing hogwash lies, and start Yelling out from the crowd from the podium, from the stage, his name's Hussein, and it seems like they are right and got a case that he's in a sleeper cell, practically. Than vote for McCain and Sarah, you'll be much better off.

God Bless you President Bush, your so right here again Sir. Most all of the Democrat Platform consists of promising benefits that will cost already burdened taxpayers aplenty. There's no mention of how these extravagant handouts will be paid for. For example, the Democratic Platform enthusiastically endorses the incredibly extravagant worldwide handouts in the bill sponsored by Barack Obama called "the U.S. Millennium Development Goals, which aim to cut extreme poverty in half by 2015." The Platform promises to "double our annual investment in meeting these challenges to $50 billion by 2012." The Democrats say "we need stronger international institutions." So, their Platform promises to "create a $2 billion Global Education Fund with the goal of supporting a free, quality, basic education for every child in the world." The Democratic Platform is full of proposals to raid the pockets of John Q. Taxpayer and reduce the American standard of living. It's McCain and Sarah who we'll "ALL" be putting in Office come January. That's another true fact. It's time for REAL CHANGE in Washington.

I had my DOSE of INSANITY listening to the am radio on the ride home from work. Comedy is the only way to survive now-a-days.
Not once did I hear the GREAT AMERICAN say a word about how to get us out of this mess. The drum beat of his OBAMA OBSESSION COMEDY is the only thing a listener can hear.
BUSH reportedly had something to say about ANXIETY FEEDING MARKET INSTABILITY. Maybe BUSH should call the REPUBLICAN PUBLICITY DEPARTMENT aka FAUX NOISE to ask that THE GREAT AMERICAN CEASE THE CHARACTER ASSASINATION and truly come up with a way to reduce our anxiety, his COMEDY SHOW NOTWITHSTANDING.

Bush Should be Prosecuted | 4:13 p.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Bush should just shut up and stay in the back ground. Does anyone with any intelligence believe anything this man says anymore. Everytime he opens his mouth things just get worse. For the sake of teh country he should just shut up. For the sake of this nation don't elect some egotistical bitter old man and his stepford freak running mate to the White House. That is the last thing we need. I am willing to stake my family's future on Obama and Biden. As for your conservative right wing selfish jerks, why don't you try practicing what your extreme churches teach you. The Republican Platform got us in this mess and now everyone is suffering. Wake up and get real.

God bless you Bush for being responsible for the killing of thousands of Iraq people. Thousands of our soldiers, crippling thousands more, reducing help for the soldiers once they come home, seeing your tax cuts for the wealthy during the same time as the worthless war in Iraq has caused the ruin of Americas housing, finance, banking, and more hate and devision than history has ever shown.
Bless you, and the people who voted twice for you.
Bless all of you for sticking to gays and abortion as your most important voting ideal.

I love to spend on credit cards, home equity loans, I like soft sound of vinyl, the hum of an old, worn-out tape or the crisp, electronic feel of an MP3 all show that music changes and so do we. Before music became portable, music listening was an activity all its own, which later became background noise used to fill empty space. The only constant is the importance of music in our lives and the proof of that is the mere fact that we still listen to it. Before the era of white earphones that spread through the world like the plague through Europe, there were albums and radios. To listen to music, I had a ghetto blaster in my room and was like many others who listened to the stereo at that time. Josh Wagner, a recent BYU graduate, plays music on his iPod connected to his speaker system at home. He said music creates a certain atmosphere in his home. Wagner said music is as important as pictures on the wall in creating a certain atmosphere and making a home feel a certain way. We are liberal's, we just wanna have fun, & spend your money.
