This is a good opening to see..Reflections of the past that affected the VETS were passed on year after year with government regulations of rhetoric and paperwork that was esasperating and tedious..Many Vets no longer want to fight the battle at home after fighting the battle across shores...To whom do we owe this new enlightenment? I am a veteran who also married a War Veteran...and he stood for those who were disadvantaged, and not apart of the ploy to dissolve those who needed! Is this a reflection of Truth and Honor from our Government...or is this a cover to ease the burden for many to stop complaining, or to win oversights for the remaining!

I smile at the thought many americans treat Iraqi and Afgan veterans as if they are the first to have discoverered problems receiving disability payments from the Department of veteran Affairs.
AS we see in the PTSd John McCain suffers from and fails to admit the Vietnam war Veteran issues are not resolved.

I am afraid the VA will be hard to deal with until we have a national health care system that takes the work load off them.

i'm non-service related vet, i'm on disabilty pension. i make $931 a month, maybe its time for a larger wage, since the federal min. wage is $7.55. Plus i feel we should be able without hurting myy pension. then the with getting eyeglasses and dental. I mean the v.a probalby spent at least @400,000 to keep me alive. so let me see and eat right
