Must be for you to post such a thoughtless comment. Guess you don't have enough in your life to fill it that you need to read every word
of news in a newspaper you probably read to find articles to be critical of!

Are you sad to be so mean-spirited?
Sorry, "Anonymous" is right. | 3:37 p.m. Dec. 5, 2008
It really must be a slow news day. Next thing you know, the Deseret Morning News will post "Mitt Romney's Dog is Going to the Vet to get a Rabbies Shot".

Nobody cared when Mitt ran for President (else why did he lose so badly to Huckabee and McCain on Super Tuesday?), and nobody cares about the details of his home life or family. This isn't "mean-spirited". It's simply the truth.

Mitt Romney is irrelevant.

Having had breast cancer twice I’m happy for Ann Romney that she caught it soon enough, as did I. I wish her well.
Mitt might be irrelevant to some but he wasn’t to other Republican candidates and the press, otherwise why would they all have gone after him so viciously. As Fred Barnes so aptly answered, when asked why the other candidates hated Mitt: “He’s handsome, smart and rich. Now what was the question?”

The liberal press knew Mitt could win and had to get him out of the way, and with the help of McCain and Huckabee (and his “Christian” buddies) they were successful. It is the country’s loss.
Liberal press? | 4:36 p.m. Dec. 5, 2008
So, Grace. How does that work? The liberals get together with the conservatives to make sure that the MOST LIBERAL REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE MITT ROMNEY does not get the Republican nomination?

Look at Mitt's record as Governor of Massachusetts. He helped put into law everything you are all against. If he wasn't a Mormon, NONE of you would have respected him.

As for this article: I'm happy that Ann Romney does not have cancer HOWEVER I am just as happy for the thousands of unnamed women across the world who got the same news today.

To "Anonymous" and "Sorry Anonymous is right", you two are insensitive jerks. If you knew someone close to you who had breast cancer, you would know how important it is when someone who is high profile is diagnosed. It brings awareness to the disease of cancer whether it be breast or something else so more research is done to find a cure. One day both of you will know someone affected and then you will understand. But for now, you are just uneducated, stupid jerks. Don't read the story if it's not something you are interested in and keep your idiot comments to yourselves.

This shows the importance of getting an annual mamogram.
We are glad Ann and Mitt that it was caught early.

To Jsue: You are absolutely right. There are, unfortunately a lot of people on these blogs who are really nasty, insensitive jerks. It's too bad. I actually feel sorry for them. I commend all those who have made kind remarks in support of the Romneys. They really are great people.

You are absolutely wrong. It's sad that anyone would get breast cancer - Ann Romney or Nancy Reagan. But to suggest that such a story about an irrelevent figure such as Mitt Romney is newsworthy, let alone his wife, is irresponsible journalism at best.

Mitt Romney will always be remembered for what he is: A New England Liberal. And Ann Romney will always be remembered for what she did: Gave money to Planned Parenthood. Yes, it's still sad that she has this affliction. Yes, it's still irrelevent.

I don't see why you hate Mitt Romney. If he's as liberal as you claim you should love him.
HIGHLY FAVORED DEMOCRAT | 6:40 a.m. Dec. 6, 2008
I am so happy for Ann's early detection, for I was diagnosed with the same condition in August 2008. Cancer does not care if you are republican, democrat, liberal or just whatever. We are all GOD'S children, and yes this subject is newsworthy! We all have a bridge to cross. So get your running shoes ready!

Glad to hear that Ann Romney caught the disease early. Prayers are being said on your behalf.

In light of Christmas, please keep all mean-spirited comments to yourself. I find that most people who attack others have low self esteem. If you find this comment to be offensive, you might want to do a self-check.
